Quick Pocket Card Tutorial

A quick visual on how I made a super fast pocket card for holding small pictures, lists, & journaling cards using my card stock scraps, washi tape, and a few embellishments.
Step 1: Fold your card stock to the size you want
Step 2: Cut another piece of card stock to slide in. (I quickly sketched where I should glue when I slid it in to test how it fit.)
Step 3: Flip it over to decorate!
Step 4: I used a pre-made card and added a card stock candy cane sticker. I then started adding the washi tape.
Step 5: I trimmed off the top off the card along where the washi tape ended.
Step 6: Glue it onto your page and stuff it full of lovely things!

Free Journaling/Pocket Scrapbooking Beach Printables

I have created beach printables to use in in your journals, smash books, or scrapbooks. These are free for personal use only and may not be sold or re-distributed elsewhere. They must be downloaded from here...the original site. I have made these cards specifically for all of you pocket scrapbookers who prefer to take vertical photos. There are not a lot of journaling cards available for us. They seem to gear the makings of the cards to those that prefer taking horizontal pictures. I could not find anything out there that fit in with my beach pictures so I decided to make my own. They are the perfect beachy blue color!
I also decided to share them to others free of charge as long as you follow the simple rules stated above. By downloading, you are agreeing to adhere to my rules of use.
I would love to see your pages and how you decide to use them in your journal, smash book, or scrapbook!
You may download them here:

The first is a picture of one printed. I wanted to show how much richer it is in color versus the other pictures from the computer. All 3 pages are the same color of blue. Enjoy! :)

New Free 3"x4" Journal Cards

I have designed some new journal cards for myself and thought I would share them with anyone else that may want to use them. They are free for personal use only. Please do not upload them to any other sites. Do not download and re-sell them as yours or post anywhere else on the web. They are to be downloaded from here only. By downloading, you are agreeing to these terms.

Here is an example of how I used a couple of the blue rusty tin journal cards. I used a white Gelly Roll pen to doodle a design on them. I absolutely love those pens for journaling and drawing on dark backgrounds.

You can leave them with the straight edges or if you prefer the rounded corners, you can use a nifty tool like this to quickly round off those corners.

I have uploaded them to Google Drive to share with anyone who would like to use them as long as you follow my terms of use listed at the beginning of this post.
